The Philips HeartStart OnSite AED has a simple interface that makes using it a breeze. Voice instructions are designed to walk you through each step of the process, including the placement of AED pads, shock delivery and performing CPR. There will be no worry about you falling behind or getting ahead of the instructions either, as the device adapts to the speed at which you are administering care. This audible guidance is given by the use of SMART AED pads that have sensors to detect the part of the process you are on. This is especially handy if you miss something, as it will prompt you by repeating, or many times rephrasing of the instructions.
The OnSite AED SMART pads are also useful because they can detect whether a shock is even necessary. If the infant/child SMART pads are installed, the AED can auto-adjust the energy output as well as the instructions in order to be personalized for use on an infant or child.

If you need an AED that can be frequently moved from location to location, like sporting events, this may be the defibrillator for you. While it doesn’t have the highest rating for dust and water resistance, you may want to purchase a carrying case if you think it will be exposed to these elements.
