On September 13, 65-year old Linda Carr went into cardiac arrest during a Zumba class in South Run Recreation Center in Fairfax County. The class instructor, another participant, a lifeguard, and a manager applied CPR and AED shocks until the emergency services arrived. Mrs. Carr survived the ordeal thanks to the team of people who recognized the emergency immediately and pitched in to help.
