If you’re experiencing any of these issues, these ZOLL AED Plus troubleshooting tips might help you solve the problem.

RELEASE SHOCK BUTTON voice prompt Release the Shock Button, then press and hold the Shock Button again until the shock is delivered. If this message continues, contact ZOLL Technical Service immediately.

The Best Way to Prevent Problems with Your AED

Most of the common error indications occur because the battery pack or electrode pads have expired or the electrode pads are not connected properly. In fact, almost one-fifth of defibrillators in a Denmark study were non-functional due to expired electrodes.

The best way to avoid these kinds of problems is to purchase your external defibrillator from a reputable dealer like AED Leader that sends out replacement reminders before your battery pack or electrode pads expire, helping you meet state and federal AED maintenance requirements.

If you still need help with ZOLL AED Plus troubleshooting after replacing the batteries and electrode pads, you can reach ZOLL’s technical service department at 1-978-421-9655, toll-free 1-800-348-9011, or fax 1-978-421-0010.
